A network of internal wastewater collection system with strategically located 12 collection sump rooms covering all the members of the entire cluster has been provided. The member industries are efficiently conveying their partially treated wastewater up to the nearest points on the gravity mains through this arrangement. The gravity mains line, traversing through the area ultimately conveys the wastewater of the cluster to the CETP (100 MLD). To keep a check on and build records of the quantity & quality of wastewater discharged from the member units a robust SCADA system, with flowmeters, has been provided on the internal wastewater collection network. In addition to this, NTIEM has its monitoring teams that round the clock monitor the influent wastewater quality to CETP.
